Just a quick update, following reports of dangerous driving and speeding around parts of the ward, myself and PC Sutcliffe where on patrol on Lothian Road SW9 when we noticed a van pull out of the Calais Street, Lothian Road junction and started to drive the wrong way down the road, in an attempt to speak to the driver, it noticed police behind and made off driving over footpaths and redlights on Camberwell new Road it continued to drive dangerously and was spotted parked up on Cowley Road SW9.
On searching the vehicle there was cash and brown powder inside believed to be Class A drugs and a number of parcels inside, the vehicle was seized along with all the other items, CCTV captured the driver and passenger when then decamped and ran onto the Cowley Estate SW9, investigation is ongoing
 If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders.
